The old saying goes that there are no atheists in the foxhole. IOW, when the bombs start coming close and your life or death hinges on where the instruments land...most people's heart tells them that their meeting with God is near and they respond accordingly.

I'm with you on that. Hopefully the very fact that GWB choose John Bolton, will signal the anti-American scum at the UN, they must start to shapen up. Of course this is all a joke, because, he is history once his term expires. The UN will continue getting away with whatever they want, with little or no opposition from the next POTUS and Congress.
But at least Bolton will stay in place for a long time, and perhaps do some good.
