"Wanting a living wage for every person who is willing and able to work full-time in our country a socialist does not make me."
What are those things that a person buys with a "living wage?"
A house, car, TV, college education for the kids? Sorry, but those things are luxuries, even though they have come to be thought of as necessities. Also, "willing and able to work" doesn't buy anyone into the game anymore. You have to bring something else to the table, like a skill or being the son/daughter of a company's founder.
So you think only a certain strata of citizens deserves those things in our society? I'm talking about basis subsistence here, not houses, tv's or college. People need at least a small rental apartment, second-hand cars or carpool, sharing expenses, to get to work . Every time Wal Mart moves, the busses move, but they don't run at night or on weekends.
