So you don't think he was worth the $20 an hour?

Apparently she does, since she paid it. Frankly I think she should have paid more. Surely his humanity was worth closer to $25/hour, by my arbitrary standard anyway. With her as his employer, I certainly think she could have done better, especially since she didn't supply him with paid vacation, health insurance, holidays, paid breaks, disability insurance, etc.

Watch out, if you keep showing the "poverty" of her arguments, she'll not want to talk to you anymore either.
