On 15,000 a year? No, I don't know anyone that could survive on that for long, other than those living at home with their parents, or those on pensions, or own their home outright.
Apartments in my area go for $700. a month and up. That's just for rent! That leaves less than 500 bucks to live on. Now throw in car payments, utilities, gasoline, insurance, food, clothing, any medical, repairs, and anything else that pops up every month and wammo, you are living on the razors edge. Again, I have no idea how people make it on 300 a month. I would have to live out of a trailer, parked in Walmarts parking lot.
Not here.
But I moved here because housing prices were low.
