You can't live on $8 an hour unless you live in a bad part of town where there are lots of drug dealing and drive by shootings.

You live a very sheltered life, don't you? I was speaking specifically to the region I live in - and I clearly stated that.

10 applicants for every position open, you say? That's because ten better paying jobs have been lost by local companies who have been forced to close their doors or move south of the border.

Why have those local companies been forced to close their doors or move south of the border? Please look in the mirror while you are rereading your posts on this thread - you will get a better picture of the problem.

I certainly did not during my working years. Now I do, yes, but I know what it is like out there because I see what my grown grandchildren are facing almost every day.
