And how stupid did the Republicans had to be to believe them? They were either stupid or knowingly supported the Dems. My opinion is that the latter is true. Nobody can be that stupid.

So, let's presume that they did trust the RATS to keep their word, for the sake of the argument (which I highly doubt).

What should they have done? Cancelled the cloture vote?

Or perhaps called for the vote, and exposed the lying RATS who were claiming they weren't filibustering but really were, or said they'd vote to end discussion, and then reneged?

The Dems have totally exposed themselves as lying obstructionists who can't be trusted.

You knew they were, and I knew they were........but now everyone paying attention knows they are.
