"Why do you make these silly extremist accusations, Stellar?"

I was merely saying "Well, I guess if you want a socialist state [then let these parasites continue to thrive in america]".

Look, here are your previous comments:

"if I don't believe in deporting those who have different ideas, no matter how harmful I think those ideas are (like the ACLU)"

You don't let the enemy live among you, especially when the enemy has identified itself as one and openly states it's ultimate goal. Just as a healthy cell wouldnt allow a virus to live near it, we shouldnt allow the virus of the ACLU and other enemies to live among us. Freedom can only be stretched so far until it's broken...

"I am sooooo mad that I am going to vote for Hillary next time."

"Then you're a fool."

That exchange has your tagline ringing truer and truer, doesn't it??? :)

I guess I should have known that 'spineless slug' was a compliment......

The Republican'ts are traitors to the Constitution--the filibuster surrender is a perfect example.

If you feel these traitors represent you, then you are a __________________ (fill in the blank).

The Republican'ts ARE spineless slugs----the filibuster surrender is a perfect example.

If you feel the spinless slugs represent you, then you must be a _________________ (fill in the blank).

I am not attacking you. I am making it clear what 90% of the members here at FR are saying--the Republican'ts are spineless. Whatever adjective properly describes the Republican'ts, then you are the same if you feel they represent you.

That is just the law of equality.

Are you really proud of the Republican'ts? Do you feel they really do represent you? If so, are you proud that they kissed the asses of KKK Byrd, Barbara Boxer and Manslaughter Kennedy? You are what they are if you feel they represent you.

I think that he did that because senate rules state that the nominee can be reintroduced by a member who voted on the losing side.

If I remember correctly, Bob Dole voted against the balanced budget amendment to allow for the opportunity to reintroduce it. It's just a guess on my part.

You're 100% correct on both counts.

He must push the button and if he looses keep pushing it every chance he gets. Make the RINOs show themselves. All of them!

"Strange statement from a long-standing FReeper."

Unlike the majority of posters here I'm a conservative, not a Republican (RINO). Since the election of GH Bush the republican party has been one disappoinment after another. The party has supported one RINO after another. The RP is no longer the party of conservatives but one of the old southern democrats.

I don't understand how anyone can support a party that has encouraged massive debt, expansion of social programs, continued support of groups like the National Endowment of the Arts and has continually ignored the problem of illegals working and living in the USA.

Tell us again--you feel the Republican'ts REALLY represent you?

No politician represents you or me. It's impossible. You (and I) don't agree with anyone on everything. Poltics is about copmparative choices not absolutes. You should vote for the best choice comparatively speaking. Its not personal or emotional, just business. So your question is not applicable.

Having said that I will calmly write Mr. Frist and request that he retire and go back to medicine. He wouldn't know leadership if it bit him in the arse. Enough of this BS. He should have gone nuclear in February.

"I'm also aware that Arlen Specter had already left Washington DC before the vote was taken. So that if there were 40 Nay votes, the most the Aye's could have had was 59."

I didn't know that RINO Arlen had conveniently skipped town. So yes, under the circumstances, 40 nays would guarantee that cloture could not be invoked.

I am sooooo mad that I am going to vote for Hillary next time.
Because I'd much rather vote for someone who listens to my vote than someones who takes my vote and does what they want.

Do you think hillereee would be any different?
Do you think she would actually listen to you AFTER you voted for her?
Wow...talk about dillusional thinking.

You're just wrong. All generalizations are wrong. Republicans are not represented by the 7 RINOS and 90% of Freepers are not saying the Pubs are spineless.

"He must push the button....."

Anybody remember the opening scene in Wargames with Matthew Broderick, when the guy in the silo has the power to use the nuclear option, but wusses out and won't "TURN HIS KEY!!"??? That scene has been running through my head the past few days for some strange reason... :-)
