Tom Selleck was picked first to play Indiana Jones but the Magnum PI legal people wouldn't let him do any other film work while under contract to that show.
Bummer.
NRA/Republican spokesman Selleck woulda been a *much* better Indy than the uber-lefty Ford.....:)
