He (the victim)said he can't help but wonder whether the officers came to his home because his family is the only Latino family living on the street.

Maybe to these cops, all Latinos look alike. Similar to getting busted for DWB.

The average IQ of police officers nation wide is only 103. Not quite dumb as rocks, but not the sharpest knives in the drawer either. It's no wonder they make so many mistakes.

Please provide the source for that IQ comment.

The article doesn't mention where they got the IQ stat either. I do remember reading about that particular matter in New London elsewhere but the last part about averages wasn't mentioned. Thank you by the way. I have to laugh a bit. Some of the police and investigators I've had the privilege to meet have the sharpest of minds and are keen investigators bordering on genius. With an average of 103, if true, I feel sorry for those on the low end. I imagine they drool a lot. 8>)My guess is that 103 would be the high end for those who shouldn't have been hired in the first place by politically correct agencies trying to meet quotas. Of course we all suffer as a result and it's next to impossible to rid ourselves of the incompetent public servants.

Here's something most people don't know about that case.

After the homeowner died, his house burned down under suspicious circumstances and his widow all of a sudden decided to accept the Forest Services generous offer to buy the now uninhabited land.

"Cochran said Plante-Scott told a judge at the time that she was so poor she considered eating road kill. She didn't, but in 2001, she left the ranch after the IRS auctioned it to recover unpaid taxes."

Even less funny, eh?

On the other hand, since we're not really home-owners or land-owners, merely home-stewards and land-stewards, I suppose that the government is well within its rights to inspect its properties whenever it sees fit...
