Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....

Hello,
Well, regardless of the reason for his melt down (I tend agree with you), he has no business being in the Senate if under pressure, he CRIES.
And, if we are correct that he has been brought to this due to "stuff he would rather keep quiet", he needs head on home anyway. That was pathetic!

Now Levin is going to pick up and go as nothing was said in the previous hour!Right after the floor president said the remainder of the time belongs to the majority (after Voinovich had already eaten up an hour of pub time).
I'm sure someone understands why we're doing that, but I don't.
