This is an interesting tactic these senators have. They get a nominee in front of them and lie and trash his reputation every way they can. Then they tell us that the nominee can't be effective because they have trashed their reputation. Not easy to win that kind of a fight. It's called "bootstrapping." Appellate level judges are good at it too. Outcome-based jurisprudence.
To: mystery-ak
she probably wrote most of it, since he can't pronounce some of the *big* words she used..Well, whoever wrote it is now putting words in Bolton's mouth. Voinovich said Bolton said "or...", which obviously implied he meant it wasn't his problem.
Seems like he talks so fast that no one really comprehends what he's meaning to say, other than he's against Bolton.

I thought the Kalifornica ones smoked it :-) Smoke it? Heaven forbid. They eat the "special" brownies.

All this from some maroon that didn't even attend the hearings!
Where were you Voinovich?
Why didn't you attend the Bolton hearings?

If I had been working in the State Department, they would have heard a lot worse from me than they heard from Bolton. What a bunch of whiners and backbiters. Sounds like a bunch of teen-age girls.

Does Voinovich have the temperment to be a senator? /sarcasm

Ha ha, he just muted himself. **Snort**

Oh, he should complain. He should whine. He should have went to someone even higher above him and complained.
He should not have taken it upon himself to confront the problem and have a good talking-to to his subordinate.
He has to watch out for the weak, frail, little people.
He would have been fired from a major corporation for this behavior? NO! HE WOULD HAVE BEEN PROMOTED!
I think we have just hit the nail on the head and found the real problem with America today. I don't listen to Savage much, but a caller the other day was commenting on how America is becoming womanized. No offense, women, but men don't know how to act like men any more.

Sure does. Do any of these idiots even have one clue about what is supposed to go on at State? They can't realize how they sound.
