Thank you for your very excellent reply. In my experience, the "creationist" school tended to be from only the 6 day/young earth group. I appreciate the instruction otherwise.

IMHO, that is to be expected when so many use the term "creationist" as a pejorative. And certainly around here when people use that term, YEC is what they mean. Nevertheless, many if not most people who believe in creation are not YEC.
