I sent an e-mail to Senator DeWine yesterday, stating that for once we had a Republican White House, House of Representatives and Senate - and that he jumped ship to join the Dems in blocking judicial appointments.

He was informed that we had one DeWine too many in DC already and that two would be unbearable. I belive Jean Schmidt would be a reliable Republican voice in place of Rob Portman.

I am in the 2nd District and I e-mailed her HQ for a yard sign after Senator DeWine made a fool of himself.

Schmidt is the worst of all of them. She voted to raise our state Sales Tax by 20%. She voted to raise our state's Gas Tax by 6 cents per gallon; apparently gas prices are too low for her. She sponsored legislation to allow Cincinnati and Hamilton County to raise it's hotel tax. She is a tax and spend Republican.
