IF Frist gets votes on all seven nominees--whether they are approved or not--then we win without going nuclear. True but will it happen this year? From the sounds of Reid this morning, the others will be placed on the back burner until more pressing matters are addressed.

Exactly, and whatever one thinks of the deal, those 7 dems yesterday agreed flatly to invoke cloture.
To: Mo1
Is Durbin next in line to get it? Under normal circumstances, probably. However, there is the 900-pound black pantsuit in the room.

Right. Look guys, this is what we wanted. IF Frist gets votes on all seven nominees--whether they are approved or not--then we win without going nuclear But the agreement only covers the three, the dems are free to find the others "exceptionalaly" right wing. And then we are free to nuke 'em

Dorgan just handily won re-election and so he's able to freely join the moonbat wing of the leftist (obstructionist) party. He's the one who was always standing behind Daschle when he was minority leader, and now hovers around Reid. Just sickening.

Then I guess we'll have to wait and see. Unless more than one RINO repudiates the MOU, it cannot work It all plays out in the votes. The Senate has no way to make nominations disappaer. They have to be voted on. The deal is just another form of debate, puffed up bigger than life.

The Dems are changing their VOTES! Proving they didn't learn from Ketchup Boy's "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it!" gaffe.
