Instead of Planned Parenthood, it should be Planned Senatehood.

Is it too late to abort them?

Funny how so many folks think the spanker controls the timing of the spanking

Quite. The donks want to get off of the whole subject of judges. I do not think that the repubs are going to allow them to do it. Carper pretty much tipped the donks hand here. The donks are hurting. If frist keeps feeding the juges onto the floor, and frist can keep normal busniess on the floor the donks be ravaged by the left of their base.

For my part, Graham pretty much confirmed that the nuke option is still on the table. Warner and Graham, I think, acutally tried to save the senate because they could not predict what would happen had the nuke been deployed at this time, under these circumstances. Since Graham is one of the signers, that gives us some measure of solice. McCain could not have pulled this off without him.

For the rest of the RINOS, defeat. Warner and Graham may be worth saving. None of the rest are.

The donks want to forget the whole deal. This in and of itself is pretty telling. If frist keeps judges on the calander, the donks will have to tip their hand, and that will put Graham and Warner on the spot.

For those of you kool-aid drinkers trying to but a brave face on this; If I didn't get RAPED last night by the Republican Senate, then why this morning does my ass hurt?!?

I dunno. Did you put your head in there?

Just kidding -- couldn't resist the opening. ;-)

I'm one of the kool aid drinkers. You can ignore what I have to say - and of coursem, you are entitled to give me one free "You have your head in your ass, cboldt!"

How about trying to refute the post and cleaning up your act while you're at it.

McCain is done.

He can run 3rd party if he wants, but at least Perot had a base of some conservatives who were frustrated with the Bush Administration that was portrayed by the MSM.

McCain will not take enough votes from the base to make a 3rd party difference, and may in fact add a few to it.

"NOTHING HAS CHANGED......"

Everything has changed. Today at about 3PM we were going to drive a stake through the Judicial Filibuster and approve 7 Judges.

Today we are not going to vote on the issue. The filibuster lives, and 4 Judges have been thrown under the bus.

Unless we both have votes on ALL nominees we have lost the biggest political defeat since Campaing Finance reform.

The RINOs have made the president a lame duck barely 5 months into his second term. We have lost 4 judicial nominees, we have lost Bolton, and we have lost any chance of getting a real conservative on the Supreme Court.

All this was done not by democrats, but by RINOs, the most disgusting form of political life now walking the planet.

I wonder if the DU'ers are as upset over this compromise deal as we are...

They were extremely upset yesterday when the deal was announced.

John McCain may have done something admirable 30-odd years ago. I guess he got it out of his system, though, because he's been nothing but an unhinged, egotistic, RAT-loving snake since.

Benedict Arnold also served his country admirably in the military.

But he was still a traitor.
