Do we have the floor again? I had to turn Kennedy off, he was causing my hard drive to warp.

He's saying this was NOT a compromise that HE wanted! He wanted an up... or down vote. He's pretty much dumbfounded about the whole mess... he says the 7 Republicans 'backed down'. I'm confused. Didn't HE sign off on this "agreement?"
To: LisaFab
Frist HAS the 50 votes. Seven RINOs just didn't want it done. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. - I noted that up at 291, as well. Some folks DON'T READ these threads, so repeat, repeat repeat, as required.
The Nuclear option is still on the table. Frist was right.

Reagan had to deal with an opposition party in the majority. We don't have that problem.

"We will know extra-ordinary when we see it." Jesus Graham, what a moron.
To: RayStacy
As soon as the other 2 come up for a vote, they will be portrayed as "FAR more extreme than any nominees ever brought before this body".
To: SandyInSeattle
Dunno if you call Linsey Graham "us" (BTW, I've got the billy club).

(Will the "extraordinary" line have the name Owen, Brown or Prior attached to it?)
To: Kerretarded
Thank you so much! I really need news. If that is true, however, why is everybody talking as if it is NOT true. Laura I. and Sen. Allen right this very moment, for example.
To: OESY
Ironic that Republicans are trying to get a black female nominee in. I hope all black people wake up. The Democrats are not the party of minority rights...just abortion rights.
Maybe with some history of the civil rights filibuster.
Will Graham sit down already?

I don't like hearing "some will make it and some won't".
To: Jrabbit
I did not say I trust him, but for people to act like he is saying something different today than he said yesterday is not correct.
To: johnny7
This jerk can't figure out what side he wants to be on.
