For what it's worth, this is the way National Review and Washington Times read the agreement too ... Saad and Myers have been tossed overboard.
This may still work out okay, and I like your optimism, but it is not the same definition of "victory" that we would have accepted two days ago.
To: Petronski
Did he just say "coopatration?" Yes he did! LMAO

The poster you're mistakenly mocking was specifically addressing the dems filibustering, not approving. He was pointing out it gives a basis for the 7 Republicans to point to and say any future filibustering is baseless and they can declare that "extraordinary circumstances" do not exist.Where in the 2 posts I responded to:
Having extra rats vote yes are going to make future filibusters much harder.
and
This is a devastating number for the rats base to swallow. This high a number for cloture will be seen as an abandonment of the far left of the rat party. The DU'ers type rat have lost big time.
are you getting this from ??? My contention was that the high vote count doesn't change anything .. when push comes to shove the dim's will move in lockstep. They're only playing at cooperating now to avoid the confrontation over a female and a black female nominee .. after those are out of the way, it will be business as usual.
Sorry you didn't like my tone .. just because

Quick. Slap a toe-tag on him and wheel him out. Close enough, if you ask me.

Is Sheets handed a new pocket Constitution every day? My latest one is only a year old and page-worn with use already.

Be that as it may, I just don't see any justification for it.
To: AliVeritas
Byrd: "Advise and Consent. Living document."
The Advise portion is an expansion of Senate powers (consultation with the President prior to nomination of judges).
The Sheets have been pulled over the Pubbies eyes.

Where do 14 liberals in the senate get the power to throw 2 of the President's judicial nominees "overboard"?
