McVain...It's hard to imagine having more disdain for this political traitor. Yeah, yeah he served in Vietnam, was a prisoner... yadda, yadda, yadda.

And I'm with you! when the brouhaha about Kerry's
nomination got heated, I went back and tallied up all
the Senate votes in the 107 & 108th Congresses;
McCain voted bootlock step with Kennedy and Kerry
about half the time. He's no Republican in my
book!

By taking the lead on what will most likely be a betrayal by the Dems, McCain has screwed whatever was left of his pooch Fido vis a vis the Republican primaries in 2008. Not that he stood much chance before, but he's moved himself even closer to Her Heinous on the "how much money do you need to stop him / her?" campaign contribution list.
