TALLAHASSEE Gov. Jeb Bush was in daily contact with congressional leaders in March as court efforts to intervene on behalf of Terri Schiavo faltered, according to e-mails obtained Monday from the governor's office.
The e-mails, released to The Palm Beach Post in response to a public records request, also show that state lawmakers persevered with legislative maneuvering to keep the severely brain-damaged woman's feeding tube intact, despite advice from Bush's top Schiavo attorney that such an effort was hopeless.

If every poll in the nation said Terri was being murdered and both parties in Congress had the opinion that Terri was being murdered and asked Jeb to do something about it, he would ahve with out a thought! Jeb reacted to polls, public opinion. He has no credibility IMO anymore!!

He stuck up for torture proponent AG Gonzalez of course.
Damage control isn't working, Jeb. You turned the rescue around. That's the bottom line. I picture the exhausting pace that Terri and the Schindlers went through. I feel no sympathy for Jeb's exhausting pace - being a hypocrite isn't the least bit tiring.

What other office can John Ellis Bush seek? He is not a Senate candidate in 2006 against the entrenched Bill Nelson. He has said that he won't seek the presidency in 2008. Is he looking for a 2008 V.P. nod?
