I don't understand the anger either...the GOP has been steadily winning elections since 1994 and with the exception of the '98 debacle have played their cards very carefully and deliberately. People need to realize getting Owens and Brown are HUGE, because they both represent areas that the left are scared to death of: a strong woman who isn't a NOW poster-hag and an educated smart articulate minority female with conservative values. I see this as a pretty big GOP win with a Rove-ian smell to it, on the surface it appears as a cave or weakness but dig a little deeper and wait it out before going ballistic. This whole episode has exposed a chasm of weakness in the liberal democrats to the entire nation..let it play out.

Oh come on! Take off the blinders. THIS IS A CAVE. I'm so sick and tired of cowards willing to get half.

McCain just handed the WH to Hillary Clinton.

We don't have Owens and Brown yet; we have no idea what deals these creepy rino's made - they may vote against them. And there is no way any of these creeps care about Bush. Bush did not okay this, and was never asked. This is a power takeover from Frist. McCain knew how really weak Frist was and has capitalized on it.
