The Republicans in the Senate haven't convinced me of anything beyond being gutless, and never having lifted a finger for this President when he needed the heavy lifting done in Congress.

Exactly. So Wednesday they'll be back to doing the "people's business", right? In other words, Olympia Snowe will be back in her committee chair blocking any sort of Social Security reform with personal accounts (given a one-vote GOP majority on the committee.)
