It just got more important for this to work, IMHO

I saw where the SCOTUS ruled that it is unconstitutional for a murder suspect to be shackled in the courtroom.

Now, considering what happened in Atlanta a month or so ago, this decision makes a lot of sense, doesn't it???

News break just said "cots are being wheeled into the senate as the filibuster on judges comes to a head....." Are they really, or is he just using a figure of speech??

And the really sad thing about that case is that it involved a SENTENCING hearing. The guy had already been convicted by a jury.

Guess we need to borrow from the international scene and use the cages like the Russians are using for one of the Beslan murderers on trial.
