Wonder if they were trying to ship Justice Brown to the 9th instead of the more prestigious DC Court of Appeals?
I believe that is a safe bet. The SC Court has more influence. Shipping Brown to the circus puts her in a controlled minority. It would associate her with those nuts, and damage possible elevation to the highest court.
