Yes, I thought it would be helpful to see appointments proposed vs approved for each prez. I'm not great at that kind of research myself.

FWIW, I think few senators will speak tonite... I think every one of the senators will want to speak & get on record.

To: ken5050
Cloture vote will be at noon tomorrow..if, as expected, it fails, then Senate recesses for caucus meetings..will return at about 3PM for the nuclear option...We're gonna have a loooooooong thread tomorrow. There will lots of confusion tomorrow, if the Constitutional Nuclear Byrd Option is started. FReepers who care better study up tonight.
McConnell is laying out the issue in succinct form.
To: xsmommy
xshub rather crudely made mention of them having to urinate in jars, but i guess it won't come to that.. ; ) Possibly not, but it most certainly has in the past.
To: OXENinFLA
And who was the 1 that voted NO? I'm puzzled about that too. It'll be in the record.
To: El Gato
xshub used to work up there, so he knew that : )
To: Cboldt
Betcha it was Kerry or Boxer
To: Cboldt
George Allen Va voted no, maybe someone can explain it

FWIW, I think few senators will speak tonite... It's been a thin cast all along.

I saw an undertone in her speech. I saw it too. A clear threat.

George Allen Va voted no, maybe someone can explain it Maybe he was occupying the chair at the time, and doesn't count as a voting member in a quorum call. "There, but not ordinarily voting"
