The Sikh body condemned these attacks. Actually our PM and current Army General are Sikh's too. The Sikh's in India have nothing to do with the Khalistan seperationist movement. The overseas Sikhs notably in an ever appeasing (ref: see the air india bombing case trial results) Canada carry out this hate campaign against India.

Let's not jump to conclusions here..We don't yet know who did this. So its premature to blame this incident on the sikh community. The possiblity that this incident was created to flare up communal tensions between the sikh and hindu community by forces opposed to india connot be entirely ruled out !!!! After all pakistani ISI cannot lie low for too long!!!

Sikhs don't regard themselves as Muslims and they certainly have nothing in common. There is a lot of commonality between Sikhs and Hindus, however.
