Hmmm. . .old age and cunning beat youth and inexperience a lot more than people realize.

I'll be perfectly honest, and admit you're right. However, I enjoyed a lot of things at 19-25 that I'm deeply ashamed of now. That's just the way maturation works.

I feel better about even good fights I lost than I do fights where I handily won against a weaker foe.

I feel better about the fights I didn't pick, weaker or stronger foe. I feel badly about the ones I did start, even if I lost and made the other guy look good in the process. I don't regret the fights were I reacted to physical violence at all. Defense is the right of every human being.

Age 47 and two heart surgeries (one 8 weeks ago)in 14 months....I can't bust a grape right now except with this keyboard here..lol

Gunrunner, I'm calling you if I need help.

My last fight was 4 years ago. He was a baggy britches 21. I won. It was not always that way.

My dad who looked like a cross tween The Rifleman and Duke could kick my ass till a couple of years before he died in his mid 60s. Arms like tree trunks and hamfisted. Only person to ever knock me out.
