Anyone so obsessed with a MOVIE that they have to ditch work to go see it has a SERIOUS mental problem.

And the obsession with this particular movie has gone FAR beyond rediculouis. The darned movie is going to be at local theaters for a LONG time - what is it with the obsession to see it in the first couple of days (and thus being in a crowded theater and possibly waiting in line for hours).

I at least can see a LITTLE bit of logic in the folks who spend a few hours in line for concert tickets - at least they are trying to see a LIVE event (although it still seems a bit twisted). But for a MOVIE????

Some folks need to get a life.

Nowadays there's very little worth watching, let alone waiting in line for. I've been boycotting the movies for the past year, and I haven't missed much. I refuse to pay for the privilege of having my intelligence insulted, my sensibilities trashed, my religion mocked and my culture degraded.
