Funny you should ask. I know Danielle's mother and the parents of other kids who have been raped and murdered. If those who advocate "protection" of this kind of pornography ever looked one of these parents in the eye and seen the awful, tortured pain that never goes away, the issue would be settled.
Unfortunately they never do look them in the eye when the parents come to testify in legisaltive committees. The liberals slink away and hide and then cast their pro-porn, pro-predator votes at the end of the day when committee business is being wrapped up.
It can't continue this way. There is going to be an uprising by parents and all sane people some day soon. Politically it won't be pretty. The time is coming.
That's the biggest problem with this entire sort of converation. Because everyone's using the word "pornorgraphy," but nobody's bothered actually defining the word, so everyone's arguing about something different.
I've seen the word "kiddy porn" used in a previous post, and I think that it's safe to say that NOBODY here would support the legalization of it (remember, it's already illegal).
But there are some people who feel that Michaelangelo's David and Venus DiMilo are porn, while others get bored reading Hustler magazine. In order to actually have a conversation, you have to agree on just what you're talking about.

If I thought for a moment that children like Danielle would be safe if we had stronger government controls on nudity and porn, I would agree with you. However, I think you're so far off the mark it's not funny. Rather, I think you'd be scratching your head in your post porn world wondering why rape and molestation weren't wiped out like smallpox when you banned porn.
I'm trying to use this as a strawman it's not. But, really, let's look at the Muslim world. Porn is nonexistant, yet sexual abuse is rampant.
What do you think about the morality of wife-swapping and drug use in the childs own home?
Who is advocating protection of child pornography??!!
