You are making the identical argument that Muslims use for covering women in burkahs and confining them to the home. I certainly wouldn't want our women to wear burkahs and confining them to the home would be a pretty rotten thing to do, but a society in which a man can get fired up at the glimpse of an ankle or the flash of an eye is much more likely to survive than one that requires Viagra, thongs and implants.
