The following twelve members of the United Senate are working behind the scenes to literally forge a compromise of the Constitution:

Senator John McCain (AZ) Senator Chuck Hagel (NE) Senator Ben Nelson (NE) Senator Bill Nelson (FL) Senator Arlen Specter (PA) Senator Susan Collins (ME) Senator Olympia Snowe (ME) Senator George Voinovich (OH) Senator Mike DeWine (OH) Senator Gordon Smith (OR) Senator John Warner (VA) Senator Lindsey Graham (SC) These men and women all took an oath to “uphold the Constitution of the United States.” Now they are violating that oath as they work to compromise the Constitution of the United States by supporting the unconstitutional “right” Senators Reid and Clinton claim they have to filibuster President Bush’s judicial nominees.

Is there a possibility that some of the Pubbies are in effect, not so much "spies" but "closet agents" of Frist and the leadership...specifically to keep an eye on McCain...Warner comes to mind, as does De Wine..?

Lindsey Graham has been a HUGE disappointment and seeing his name on that list has confirmed everything I've thought about him for 2 years now.

Of course that doesn't mean he wouldn't work on the committee, but IMHO, anyone that is on that committee isn't dedicated enough to be trusted!

Pay no mind to these sanctimonious 12 Senators. They have no power if Frist stands firm.

Frist simply says to McPain and the 5 other traitors, vote against the nuclear option- if you dare.

The justification that a filibuster will thwart extreme candidates, is a false issue. A TRULY extreme candidate (NAZI) won't not be nominated; and if so, not confirmed.

The sanctimonious 12 are just trying to be power brokers, and straddle the fence as is their modus operandi. Frist should call the bluff of the Sick "GOP" 6, and thereby, get them on the record. We can take it from there.

Sen Smith spoke in favor of the constitutional option this morning. Therefore, the names of the individuals on that list are not necessarily senators who are going over to the dark side.
