A really good job by Sessions and McConnell.

I wonder if anyone can post a source for those quotes he used from Boxer and Schumer about the constitution and blocking the up/down vote. Please "post 'em if you got 'em. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Excuse me for being government school educated. So, in summary, simple majority is the default unless otherwise stated.

Quickly checking in, be back later.

The two factions with power are 1) grassroots 2) Frist.

The RINO's can make a deal to sacrfice these justices, but if they do, Frist can still put them to a vote. So long as he is determined to call that vote, any deal they make is in jeopardy since they are attempting to not go on record. This lies in Frist's hands and ours.

So far Frist's spine is straight, as are many other Reps standing firm on the floor of the Senate for these Justices. I know my spine is set straight, I will not compromise and have been made known what I will do to any that vote against.

We want a vote and we're going to get a vote. These RINO's are going to have to go on record and so are the red state Dems.

Orrin Hatch using some of the quotes right now that Democrats used to be opposed to filibustering judicial nominees.

Excellent. If you could ping me I would appreciate it very much. I want to circulate those quotes; they lay bare the hypocrisy of the Dems on this (not that there isn't a wealth of info that already does that).

Or point me to a source I can search for them without spending five hours doing it.

Thanks again in advance.
