McCain won't even get my vote in a general election. I am convinced he would cause more harm to the country, Republican Party and conservative movement than Hillary ever could.

I like him! Kyl was good as well! They all did a great job, expept Specter, but he toned it down, he knows he has to go with us or loose his Chair!
McCain will hand '08's election to the democrat if he runs as an Independent.
I noticed Allen stumbling a bit---but then I realized that he was answering the terrible insults that Durbin had just made on the floor of the senate, so the "speech" was probably hastily done by one of his aides....
Therefore, he was anxious to rebute the poop that Durbin what throwing out, but he got "happy feet" when pulling away from the center. (He would love my football analogy, don't you think?)
They need to promise him something, but I don't think people trust McCain, I know I don't!

I doubt it. IMO, it would be a draw. republicans/conservatives are not going to follow him the way they did Perot.
That leaves Moderates/Indy's and dems that may not like the Dem candidate that could move to McCain. he doesn't worry me.

Well, most of the ones that are against Frist on the filibuster (RINOS) were busy having a press conference today whining about the base closings in their states....
NOW, I think they want to call all of the shots and they throw hissy fits when they can't get their way--just like the dems...
