yes, but I will say this. if these 6 Rs flip, and change what would have been their floor votes on these judges as part of a compromise to avoid the rules fight - I can't blame Bush or Frist for that. Its not like with Bolton, when it was apparent that Lugar nor the white house had even talked with Voinovich about what he was going to do.

these 6 Rs, if they flip, do so knowing exactly what the score is, what is at stake, and where the senate leader and the president stands.

The President understands why we walked, phoned and otherwise contributed to his campaign.

He may also understand the heat he's taking on the border issue and feels that he needs to win the judges issue or he'll lose all support from his base.
