When the constitutional option is delivered, perhaps Schumer's rants on the issue, i.e. the "cooling saucer" can finally be put in the freezer.

"Could be, I agree. My point is that Hillary will do or say practicaly anything for power and influence. "
Hillary's warchest is over 200 million dollars and will not have to spend a dime of it for reelection to the Senate.
She is free to do whatever she wants.

Note that Specter is referring to it as the "constitutional nuclear option".
Better than just "Nuclear" option, I suppose.
Arlen sure is in love with the sound of his own voice.
Now pushing for a compromise (big surprise).

Right. Betcha the Dems regret voting Reid as their leader.
Specter saying he hasn't made up his mind, wants to 'broker a compromise' that returns to the 'status quo'. This guy is still trying to give the Dems a way out. Lots of coughing on the Senate floor.

Spectre says "extrodinary" and extremist" should be defined and codified in Senate rules. hah. Dems will never do that. LOL
To: Polybius
Democrats brought up George Washington's analogy of the purpose of the Senate being like a a saucer used to "cool" hot tea just as the Senate is used to "cool" legislation. I think the Pubbies ought to use a baseball analogy. It's top of the nineth, bases loaded and the Republicans have their power batter at bat. Now the Rats are refusing to pitch ...
