What's even funnier is that they have a lot of red counties in their states...so those shouldn't be in their column! And there are of plenty of 90-95% red states but only a few 90-95% blue states.
You're leaving out the Presidential vote. That's part of the equation otherwise it would be the Senate having the whole ball of wax....and that is not the case.
Teddy needs to restudy history.
...The Swimmer is quoting editorials?...
The Houston Chronic-ill, The San Antonio Excuse for News, and the Austin American Socialist Statesman. Dem shill rags all belonging on the bottom of birdcages.
Just doing what Howlin stated earlier today.
You have to check all of their "facts". All of them.
I'm finally able to check back in. Have I missed anything of major importance?
If I were debating Schumer (or any dem) and they brought that argument into the debate (about population of their states)---
MY retort would be that by not letting Bush's nominees to come out for a floor vote on the Senate floor, the FEW dem senators that are on the judiciary committee are disenfranshizing MILLIONS more people, whose states have NO senator on the judiciary committee, which in effect keeps the whole state from having ANY say in the process of voting on judges.
Are these the same papers Boxer told what to write on the issue of the filibuster?
If this goes nuclear..... it is going to be REALLY funny. Teddy's liable to show up drunk and throw something...
note to self: check out skewer/possible new batarang design
Ted 'Galloway' is talking, you may want to check back out.
Someone tell Teddy he has every right to vote against the nominees just shut up already. Can anybody take this bum seriously.
yeah ,,.. Throw his back out
I believe that means that all the other democrats had left the floor, and she was to stay. Because if she left, the majority leader could ask for unanimous consent for a vote, and there would be nobody to object.
So the democrats have to make sure there is at least one person from their side in the room at all times.
This also points out that the democrats are not there listening to anything even THEY are saying.
He needs that and MUCH more.
Hm---Kennedy just accused the GOP of stopping down the business of the Senate---
Wasn't it REID that refused to allow the committee to meet during these debates on the nominees? If so, then how can Kennedy be correct?
You haven't missed much except Byron Dorgan and Kennedy bloviating lies about the GOP and Brown and Owen.
If he thinks the nuclear mess will be such a disaster.... he should just confirm the judges. Putting a few activist judges on some scattered courts is bound to much less destructive than what the drunk has described.....
Millions do. They're called "liberals." Sad, really . . .
