Ah. I need to do more homework I think. So, if the shoe is ever on the other foot, we can still filibuster...we just have to do it in public so that it is more transparent.

Hmm...why isn't the press on board here? Isn't that what they always are screaming for—a more transparent government. /eye roll

No, if the shoe is ever on the other foot and the nuclear option has been enacted, we can't filibuster their judge nominees. This filibuster ban applies only to judicial nominations though, which nobody ever did before anyway. We seem to have better ways to stifle judges...:)
