lol. She is a very nice woman and even offered to put in a good word to help me get a FNC internship, but her reporting skills leave a lot to be desired. I hope that she goes somewhere where she has to drop the tabloid bit.

Fox News Channel will not renew a contract with weekend host Rita Cosby, as the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on an extension, the network said.
Cosby hosted "The Big Story Weekend Edition With Rita Cosby" at 9 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday at 6 p.m. she hosted "Fox News Live With Rita Cosby."
Cosby will leave the network immediately. No replacement host has been appointed, nor has a decision been made on the future of the shows, Fox News said.
The current news is that Rita is headed to MSNBC.
Rita Cosby will join MSNBC, it was announced today by Rick Kaplan, President of MSNBC. Cosby will start with the network in June and will anchor a daily evening program. In addition, she will serve as a special correspondent. Cosbys program is in development and will debut in the fourth quarter.

Rethink that. Frist is NOT presidential timber; even if he pulls this off.

Perhaps it is McConnell's last desperate attempt to manage the media perspective and scare another RINO into submission.
I think this whole thing has been a monumental fight for public perception. We had to win that. And I think I just read that the polls finally broke in our favor...so now is go time.
If Lieberman votes with us, I'm going to have to take back one more mean thing I've said about him. I'm actually starting to respect the guy again. Yikes!

What a great day to be a Republican!
The LA Times just posted this:
Gov. Directs Staff to Prepare for Special Election Campaign
After five months of failing to sway Democrats to his "year of reform," Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has directed his political staff to prepare for a special-election campaign that would denigrate the California Legislature and its union benefactors.
The donkey party wanted war and war they're gonna get...coast to coast!

"And then we have the option of changing the rules- no difference."
I thought about that one too - but if the filibuster option is still available when it comes time to block the Supreme Court nominee, then the Reps would look bad for attempting to bypass it at that time. If the Dems lose now, they're finished - which is great for us, but something they, no doubt, must be thinking about.
