No they don't. Wishful thinking.
To the extent that competition with Los Mojados causes them grief in the job market, they may oppose illegal immigration from Mexico or other "hispanic" countries. But if you drop that from the equation, it's a tiny minority. Like all nations, the Mexican nation and to a lesser degree the Latin American ethnicity has affinity for and emotional attachment to people they perceive as "them". They will not make technical distinctions based on whether someone came here legally or illegally. That is a perfectly understandable, and natural, reaction.
The sooner the Anglo-European soon-to-be-not-a-majority understands that, and does not engage in wishful self-deception, the sooner the problem will have the political will to be solved.
If not, it never will be.
"No they don't. Wishful thinking."
Virtually every one I know does.
I have to agree with you.
Reasoning amongst both both men, women and their kids.
With the women, terrorism protection and crime.
With the Vets, sovereignty and respect for our law.
With the Voters, I am an American and they have no business voting and deciding who should be elected in my country.
With the Students, they are taking my seat in college and my teachers time away from me.
With the drivers, They don't obey the laws and run anytime they have caused an accident.
With the Homeowners, I am fed up with paying for everything they want or think they need with increased taxes.
With the younger -13- to 20, I am fed up with their damn gangs and drugs. All the cops look at us as if we were illegal too.
One of the kids, a 16 yr old girl, actually went over to a cop who was watching her at the Mall and said, "I an an American just the same as you are so take your dirty looks and go somewhere else with them! If you want to know who is illegal why don't you yell, Border Patrol and see who runs?"
She is quite pretty, so I am not sure why the cop was keeping a close eye on her.
With all of them, the illegals don't care about America. All they want is what they can get from us and if we won't give it, they take it.
That is the attitude I have been able to gather up amongst Mexican Americans. It is quite close to mine.
