The Congressional Hispanic Caucus seems like its just acting for votes, rather than for the welfare of the country (can you believe a politician would do that?). You are right on about the "open border" stance. If the borders were open, Latinos/Hispanics would have an easy majority in the southern border states and eventually the whole country. Congressional Police Power has taken a back seat to being re-elected.

You are exactly right! My congressional district is an example of that. The district was intentionally drawn, so only a Hispanic could be elected. My congressman is a member of the hispanic caucus,(lower case intentional) three times I have walked up to him to talk to him, three times he has turned and walked away.
