I most definitely do NOT think this is a detriment to America. This has been going on for at least 30 years now and we are still here. Because heavy smoking may take 30 years to bring on a fatal case of lung cancer, it is not a detriment to the human body? That makes as much sense as your assertion.

You all were saying that the Schiavo case was the turning point, the seminal event, etc.
You were uneducated about the fact that this has been going on for a long time. Now that you know, you want to claim some sort of cumulative effect.
The fact is, this is not going to become the thing to do to disabled persons, like you all were suggesting.
