How many of you guys are normally complaining about police over use of force on other days?

Shooting at a plane that you fear ~might~ hit something only turns it into a plane that definately ~will~ hit something. It doesn't just vaporize. I think we need to be a little prudent about making sure it's really a threat.

Yes, what gets shot down will always fall to the ground in a very uncontrolled manner on top of houses, schools etc. However, the larger question is would be how is it that a 150 can fly within three miles of the White House before any real action is taken?

What if this guy was flying a Gulf Stream at 400+MPH. The Authorities would have had no time to react and the White House or Capitol would have been destroyed.
