Lets just have people actually ~think~ this through instead of just panicking.
People seem to be missing the point that whatever the radius is, and whatever the restrictions are... today it worked just as it should have.
Plane noticed. Plane intercepted. Plane grounded.

Amen. I live within 30 miles of the WH, and like to fly. It's difficult enough with the rules already in place.
There is a 30NM radis clearly marked on charts identified as an ADIZ. http://www.aopa.org/adiz/host.html has information on it. A 50 mile NO FLY ZONE would shut down ALL CIIL AVIAITION Iin most of Northern Virginia and much of Maryland.
