I guess Fedex and UPS and Schwanns and Pepsi and Coke and so forth will have to conform themselves to your little social engineering experiment too. All of those can be delivered in smaller, car-sized vehicles too. And school buses? Forget it.

Don't forget these...they've been blocking sightlines and scaring the crud out of the fathers of teenage daughters for decades...

As a non-van driver during my 70's, I found fathers quite willing for their daughters to depart the house with me in British sports cars incapable of reclining or without even a back seat.

That's when I took up golf at night and a blanket to the sandtrap. Along with a hugh pitcher of grasshoppers made with McDonalds milkshakes, grain alchohol,green cream d'minthe and clear cream d'cocoa. Pay no mind to those kids with the milkshakes......heh-heh!
