A family with three small children needs a big vehicle just to fit the car seats inside.Three car seats are too big for the backseats of almost all the sedans and that means you must buy a van or SUV with three rows of seating.If they could make the car seats take up less space people would be able to drive smaller vehicles.

A station wagon would do the job, too... but it's not the folks with three small kids that tick me off, it's the solo commuters/cruisers in SUVs that do.
