I buy the idea that an environment of relative freedom is important for technical progress. During and post renaissance the environment was certainly conducive. But other civilizations have also gone through similar phases at different points in time.
It's true that they have -- but where are they now.
Uniquely among Nations, ever, the United States of America's Constitution protects US against the ravages of such collectivist monsters as say China's long-finger-nailed "Mandarins" who long ago collectivized and destroyed China's blossoming and blooming Civilization -- or India's monstrous corrupticrats of most of the past 50+ years.
If, that is, we can but break the brunt of the attacks upon it initiated by the traitor, Roosevelt and sustained these past more than seven decades by our very own domestic-enemy politicians, "judges," bureaucrats and various other members of the parasitical classes; hang on to its tattered remnants and, please God, restore it and our beloved FRaternal Republic.
