The sticker "evolution is a theory, not a fact" is misleading. It suggests that theories somehow graduate to becoming facts, and since evolution is a theory, not a fact, this somehow diminishes the validity of the theory. It doesn't. 'Theory' is as high as it gets.

How about "gravity is a theory, not a fact". Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

Yes, but pointing out that "theory" is not the same as "fact," is not approved by liberal judges -- not when notions like macroevolution and abiogenesis are under discussion. They have a tacit gag rule against that.

Actually, the stickers show that the board doesn't even know what the definition of a scientific theory is as opposed to the laymas's definition of a theory. THey are two very different things.
