Five months after Gov. James McGreevey left office in disgrace, a new public opinion poll shows that 49 percent of New Jerseyans would consider voting for him in a future election.
The poll by Zogby International was commissioned by the gay rights advocacy group Garden State Equality to measure public support for gay marriage (which remains at 55 percent statewide). The group piggy-backed the McGreevey question onto the poll, largely in an effort to test electoral support for gay and lesbian candidates.

It is amazing the amount of corruption here in Jersey. Our US Attorney is a very very busy man. A local radio host has coined an acronym called G.R.I.P. (Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians). Meaning never re-elect anyone no matter how much bile you have to suppress in your stomach.
Careful. As you walk away he may jump you for "a reach around".
Good point. Yet Christie is still holding up his end of the gentleman's agreement to not prosecute McGreevey. So be it. It's getting interesting watching the shattered remains of career Dem politicans stack up in the state. They don't leave the power establishment, they just "disappear" in plain site within the corporate world.
I'm more concerned Torch might make a comeback attempt than McSleezy.
I've GOT to get out of this state.
Not that we in Ohio can talk -- Cincinnati elected Jerry Springer as Mayor of Cincinnati AFTER he bounced a check to a hooker.
Politicians should either be crooked or stupid. When they are both, they've gone too far.
If only he were a pedophile also, he would have 60% approval.
Got a new bunch of crooks!
It's NJ after all.
ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN NEW JERSEY AND USUALLY DOES!
What's the shock? You don't hvae to watch politics very long to figure out that Democrats never hold their politicians accountable for problems with personal morality.
The more they cheat, steal, fool around on their wives, etc the higher their ratings go. It's a Democrat thing.
The funny thing is, they can't figure out why Republicans do punish their politicians who are immoral. They keep thinking it's a strange puritan thing.
