I looked all over the net for a good picture of a hippo tail. The closest I got was a drawing that wasn't clear, but did show a bushy end on the tail. I also found a physical description that said hair bristles were only on the nose, ears and tail. I don't see any at all on that picture.

Bottom line, Genesis, and Job, are confusing. Whether behemoth is a hippo, or rino, or whatever, it certianly doesn't describe the entire class of dinosaurs. Even if it did, so what? We already know dinosaurs existed in great number. At least the Old Testament got it right on this one, if it really means dinosaur.

The fact that we can't get a definite idea of what Job is talking about here is even further evidence that Genesis just doesn't have enough information to make it clear exactly HOW God created the universe, life and the species.

Evolution gives a better idea? You still have to explain how something comes from nothing. How morality, personality, physical and chemical and biological order, mind, and intellect arises from ... their exact opposites (as seen in the natural state of chaos).

Talk about blind faith. But of course, you can't see that.
