I have no problem with evolution as a theory. "Common descent", if by common you mean from one prokaryote to the current zoo, I am dubious about. I do have a problem with two headed coins and using the hammer to knock the square peg into the round hole.

Color me skeptical on this one General.

Nothing wrong with skepticism - asking questions is how we find answers, after all. Unfortunately, most of us don't have much time to become full-blown experts in everything, so what can we do but listen to the experts?
