snopes.com is another growing anti-conservative site taking advantage of the built up usersAre you sure about that?
One of the founders went bezerk on Michael Moore (in person) and repeatedly called him a liar (face to face).
She eventually was mocked by the media for losing it, and did a partial, slight retraction, but I do know that she (and either her husband or partner or whatever) voted for Bush.
In the website itself, under a 9/11 thing, its referanced.

Snopes has always leaned slightly to the left. If the urban legend they're investigating is political, they'll give a little more weight to the left than the right.

Snopes has BEEN biased left. They weasel out of their slamming republicans and giving democrats a pass by saying true or false depends on their framing statement.
They still refuse to call Hillary a liar over the Sir Edmund Hillary claim. They say that maybe her mom was a liar instead. Riiiiiight.

I wouldn't put it past a liberal to lie about voting for Bush and to do a wacko thing to try to say they are unbiased. Snopes is a lefty site. You don't have to read too many of their "explainations" of legends to figure that out... of course, you have to be a moderate or conservative thinker to see that.
Dan Rather would probably thing that snopes.com is fair and balanced.
